Compact and Heavy-duty System with Large Storage Capacity
The RS-200-RPS-E series are compact 2U rackmount systems that provide flexible solutions for ISPs, telecommunication, industrial automation, VOD and space constrained data centers. The RS-200-RPS-E consists of Advantech’s in-house designed server, which supports either dual Intel Xeon processors 3.6 GHz or higher CPU speeds, up to 16 GB of registered ECC DDR2 SDRAM and 400/533/800 MHz FSB. The RS-200-RPS-E with Intel E7520 chipset, supports PCI-X bus at 64-bit/66/100/133 MHz, and comes with three PCI-X expansion slots. Designed to be easily configurable, the RS-200-RPS-E includes six hot-swappable SCSI storage devices, a compact floppy disk drive, and a CD-ROM drive. Complete I/O functions include: Intel 82546GB dual Gigabit Ethernet controllers, with support for 10Base-T, 100Base-T and 1000Base-T through RJ-45 connectors. The system cooling fans provide superior ventilation and thermal performance. The alarm function detects chassis temperature, LANs, HDDs and power failure, which display on LED indicators on the front panel. The optional IPMI MIB-based management module enables remote hardware and power on/off monitoring.
